2009 College Scholarship Winners
What a Smile Means to Me
Feldman Orthodontics awarded their 19thannual college scholarships to two local high school seniors. Jessica Glover graduating senior from Plant City High School and Jacob Keith graduating senior from Bloomingdale High School were awarded a $1,000.00 scholarship for submitting winning essays in response to the question: "What a Smile Means to Me?" In addition to the essay, the students must have maintained a grade point average of 2.5 or better, with or without honors, submit a letter of reference written by a member of the school administration and a letter of acceptance from a college of their choice.
Dr. Randy Feldman has awarded the Feldman Orthodontics Scholarship to outstanding graduating seniors from local high schools for nineteen years. He is committed to giving something back to the community and recognizing those individuals with the potential to excel.
The Scholarship was presented at an awards dinner honoring the winners, their families, and their guidance counselors, held at the South Tampa location of Feldman Orthodonticsat 3739 Neptune Street. Dr. Feldman and several staff members joined the students and guests in celebration the evening of Wednesday, April 29,2009. In addition to the $1,000 scholarship award, Dr. Feldman gave each student a copy of the book "Oh the Places You'll Go," by Dr. Suess.
